Post-Christmas Picture of the Cat

My human put on a sweater she got for Christmas and made me take a picture with her. When will she figure out that I HATE GETTING MY PICTURE TAKEN...unless it's my idea. Then it's okay.

Christmas Torture

My humans opened their Christmas presents to each other when they got home. They didn't give me anything...hmph! Not even a little toy mouse. Like a little canned tuna was going to make up for a snub like that.

I like the wrapping paper, though, so I was right next to my human while she was unwrapping. She put one of the bows on my head. I guess she thought it would be funny. I didn't think it was funny. I didn't like it at all, actually. Why do humans think it's funny to do the most insulting things to cats? How would she like it if I put a bow on her head?

Holiday Blues...Feline Version

I know I haven't written anything for a while, but I've been very down lately. My human left me for Thanksgiving (the mutt stayed with me for a while...just my luck), and then again for Christmas (that time the mutt left too). I got so depressed both times that I couldn't even think of blogging. When she came back, she said she missed me. I don't know if I believe her. I was angry enough to punish her thoroughly after Thanksgiving. When they got back yesterday, though, I was so relieved I couldn't be angry. I haven't been able to stop purring since last night. It's so nice to have my human home. She says she won't be going away again any time soon. I hope she's telling the truth. I don't want to be left alone any more!
