My human put on a sweater she got for Christmas and made me take a picture with her. When will she figure out that I HATE GETTING MY PICTURE TAKEN...unless it's my idea. Then it's okay.

- My writing background includes nonfiction, poetry, copywriting and fiction. I was the winner of the MOTA short story contest in 2002 and received honorable mentions for fiction from Writer’s Journal magazine in 2002 and 2004. My short stories have recently appeared in the A Sense of Place anthology and Big Muddy literary journal. I am also a member of the Writers Guild of Eastern Oregon. I currently balance my primary job of being a mother with freelance writing and editing.
